Overview

 

The Emergency Installation is a non-structural work unit within the Dr. National Hospital organization. Cipto Mangunkusumo, who plays a role in organizing emergency service activities at the hospital, is under and responsible to the Director of Services and Nursing.

 

 


 

 

 

Dr. Cipto Mangunkusumo National General Hospital's Emergency Installation has the following functions:

 

  1. Service management and development of emergency handling;

  2. Implementation of General and Operational activities;

  3. Implementation of Administrative and Financial activities; And

  4. Implementation of Quality and Patient Safety activities.

 

The Emergency Department provides 24-hour emergency services for patients with life-threatening, critical or serious illnesses that require immediate treatment or action. The services provided based on the level of emergency are divided into 3 (three) patient categories according to triage categories, namely:

  1. Red (resuscitation)

  2. Yellow ( urgent )

  3. Green ( non-urgent )

 

According to the Regulation of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia Number 47 of 2018, emergency services must meet emergency criteria, which include:

  1. Threatening life, endangering self and others/the environment;

  2. There are disturbances in the airway, breathing and circulation;

  3. There is a decrease in consciousness;

  4. The presence of hemodynamic disorders; and/or

  5. Requires immediate action

 

Emergency services are carried out through an integrated emergency management system in accordance with statutory provisions.

 

 


 

 

Type of Service ( Scope of Service )

 

As a Level IV Emergency Installation, the Emergency Room of Dr. National Hospital. Cipto Mangunkusumo must meet minimum service standards which include:

  1. Diagnosis and services include airway, breathing and circulation problems with more complete equipment including ventilators.

  2. Assessment of disability , medication use, ECG, and defibrillation.

  3. Resuscitation and ICU services.

  4. Emergency surgical procedures .

  11. PKT Services (Integrated Crisis Center)

  12. R. Decontamination

  13. Emergency Support Services

  14. OK Emergency

  15. HD Emergency

  16. Emergency ICU
