Overview
RSCM Kencana is an Integrated Executive Services Installation (IPET) at Dr. Cipto Mangunkusumo National General Hospital which is under the Indonesian Ministry of Health which offers an integrated and international standard health service concept. The presence of IPET RSCM Kencana provides a new nuance regarding increasingly sophisticated health technology, where previously most people chose hospital services abroad, now Indonesian people have the opportunity to seek treatment without having to go abroad and can enjoy hospital services whose quality can be on par with hospitals abroad.
RSCM Kencana began operating on May 7 2010 and was inaugurated by the Indonesian Minister of Health, Dr. Endang Rahayu Sedyaningsih, MPH, DR-PH, has 87 beds consisting of VIP, VVIP, isolation rooms, suites and president suite , located on Jl Diponegoro No. 71 Menteng, Central Jakarta is very strategic and easy to access, and has a larger parking area.
Services available at IPET RSCM Kencana include outpatient services, inpatient services, special care (24 hour Executive Clinic, ICU, NICU, PICU, Operating Room) and medical support services, then since June 2023 it has been joined by the Kanigara Building which is the service center Organ transplantation and the Advanced Diabetic Center as well as the Intermediate Cluster as an integrated health examination service center.

RSCM Kencana's IPET service system always prioritizes aspects of integration and collaboration. One manifestation of this is through services to groups ( clusters ) in certain fields. Cluster is a form of grouping medical personnel (doctors) from several medical disciplines who provide health services in one health service. Through the cluster system that is implemented, many conveniences are obtained, including patient treatment being more effective because the implementation of the cluster system is guided by guidelines that are agreed upon and implemented together, there is discussion of patient problems which are discussed by a team of competent and related doctors and a team of doctors visits the patient on one place so that patients can be more comfortable in getting comprehensive services. All of these things build a new breakthrough in a holistic service system that remains patient -oriented .

RSCM Kencana has the most complete staff of subspecialist doctors in Indonesia, this puts Dr. Cipto Mangunkusumo National General Hospital as a hospital with a scope of health services up to quaternary services. This allows health services to be provided by subspecialist doctors who are professional and competent in their fields and carried out in an integrated manner through communication and coordination. Another advantage of the RSCM Kencana service system is the existence of case conferences in handling difficult, rare or complicated cases. This is done by creating an early identification system for patients with these cases. After that, the team of doctors will discuss the case to determine the diagnosis, therapy options and advance planning . Apart from that, it is equipped with medical support service facilities consisting of laboratory satellites, radiology, medical records, pharmacy and nutrition.
Inpatient and special care services are available every day for 24 hours, there are 4 special floors for inpatient rooms where all room classes are available specifically for 1 patient only, namely Inpatient Floor 4, Floor 5, Floor 6 and Floor 7. Room classes are divided into 4, namely VIP, VVIP, Suite, isolation room and President Suite which has been renovated with a more modern interior design for rooms up to the nurse station area.
For special care at RSCM Kencana it is divided into several units, namely, 24 Hour Executive Clinic, Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). These units are categorized as special care because the criteria for the patients or cases treated are different from each other.
The 24-Hour Executive Clinic, which can be called the emergency unit at RSCM Kencana, is the initial gateway for patients who need immediate medical assistance, whether for critical, emergent, emergent or even non-emergency cases. This clinic consists of 5 beds, one of which is an isolation room. One of the advantages is the doctor on duty consisting of a specialist in internal medicine, an ambulance service with trained and experienced Emergency Medical Service (EMS), and a house call/ homecare service that is ready 24 hours.
The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) are in the same area on the 3rd floor. These units are special care areas for adult patients and children aged >1 month with serious health problems that require monitoring. strictly for 24 hours either due to the course of the disease or after major surgery. Likewise for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), which was newly formed after renovations in 2019 and officially started operating in 2020. This unit was formed to be able to provide intensive care for newborn patients up to 28 days of age. Due to the patient's condition being more vulnerable and requiring close monitoring, access to these units is limited to health workers only.
Currently there are a total of 87 inpatient rooms/beds in all inpatient and special care wards at RSCM Kencana. The rooms are spread from floors 3-7 and are divided into several room classes, namely VIP, VVIP, Suite and President Suite.
